In 1980 he joined SODICAM, one of Renault’s commercial subsidiaries, where he was in charge of recruitment and training. He then became responsible for payroll policy and HR of the company’s new European subsidiaries, and finally HR director with a staff of 1000 people in Europe at the time (1996). Jacques then joined Renault where he carried out HR management functions in several units (plants and research departments).
